oDoctor (“we”, “us”) provides telemedicine and related health services through our mobile apps and website. This policy explains what personal data we process when you use oDoctor.
1. Information we collect
- Account data — name, phone number, email, date of birth, gender, and profile details you provide.
- Health-related data — symptoms, consultation notes, prescriptions, medical records, and messages shared during care.
- Usage & device data — app version, device type, IP address, and basic diagnostics for security and reliability.
- Payment data — payment status and transaction references from our payment partners (we do not store full card numbers).
2. How we use information
- Create and manage your account and appointments
- Connect you with doctors and deliver consultations, prescriptions, and follow-ups
- Process payments, refunds, subscriptions, and coupons
- Send service messages (OTP, booking updates, reminders)
- Improve safety, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations
3. Sharing
We share data only as needed to provide care and operate the platform — for example with treating doctors, payment processors, SMS/OTP providers, and analytics tools under appropriate safeguards. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Retention
We retain account and medical information for as long as your account is active and as required for clinical, legal, or regulatory purposes. After account deletion, we remove or anonymize personal data except where we must keep limited records (for example completed payments or legal holds).
5. Your choices
- Update profile details in the app
- Request a copy of your data by contacting support
- Request account deletion via the Delete account page
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures such as encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please keep your OTP and login details confidential.
